Service providers
These companies help us run Path. Each one gets only what it needs for its job, and may not use your information for its own purposes. This is the list the privacy policy refers to.
Companies that handle your information for us

Render runs both our servers and our database, and keeps the database backups.
AI we run ourselves (if used)
Some parts of the app can run on an open-weight AI model (gpt-oss-120b by OpenAI) on computers we operate ourselves, instead of on Anthropic's service. No outside company receives those requests. If our computers are busy or down, the request goes to Anthropic instead. Reading photos, Edge and Map always use Anthropic. Services your browser contacts directly
- Google Fonts (Google LLC)
- Your browser downloads the app's fonts from Google. Google sees your network address and browser details when it does. No plan data is sent. Google Fonts privacy
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.): not in use
- A bot check we can switch on for the age screen if automated sign-ups become a problem. It is off today. If we turn it on, we will add it to this list first.
What we don't use
- No advertising networks.
- No analytics or tracking tools.
- No data brokers.
- No AI tracing or monitoring service that would receive your plans or chats. If we add one, it will be listed here before it receives anything.
Public data sources
We download public data from O*NET, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and College Scorecard in advance. They don't receive anything about you. See Data sources.
Changes to this list
